Bristol & Beyond Stronger Practice Hub Featured on The Baby Room Project Blog

We’re delighted to share that Bristol & Beyond Stronger Practice Hub has been featured in a new blog post by The Baby Room Project, highlighting our work in baby-specific professional learning.

The blog post explores the importance of specialised training for baby room educators and showcases how we are leading the way in providing targeted professional development opportunities. Drawing on international research, The Baby Room Project emphasises that general early years training is insufficient for those working with our youngest children – baby room educators need professional learning that explicitly addresses their day-to-day work with children aged 0-2 years.

Our Approach

The blog post highlights our core values, which underpin all our professional learning and focus on babies’ voices and rights, the importance of attachment and relationships, collaboration across the sector, and authenticity in practice. These values drive our commitment to ensuring babies’ voices are heard, their rights are respected, and educators working with babies are empowered in their practice.

Our Professional Learning Offer

The post features our key programs, showcasing our Working with Babies Network, which offers evening sessions where baby room educators visit different nurseries to learn about various approaches to baby room practice. It also highlights Tuning in to Babies, our in-depth sessions exploring attunement in practice, and Inspiring Provision for Babies, which offers specialised support for nursery managers and room leaders who may not have direct experience working with babies.

The blog also recognises our flexible approach to delivery, offering a mix of face-to-face, hybrid, and online sessions at various times to ensure accessibility for busy professionals across the sector.

Upcoming Events

This recognition from The Baby Room Project reinforces our commitment to empowering baby room educators and ensuring the voices and rights of our youngest children are heard and respected.
