Childminder Connectors
Are you a childminder working with early years children (0-5 years)? Are you feeling isolated or overwhelmed? Do you have assistants but no support in leading your team? Would you like to connect for some support in running your childminding business?
Our free online supervision sessions are here to help.
You can access up to 3 free online sessions over a 6-month period with your allocated Childminder Connector, funded by the Stronger Practice Hub. These will be arranged on an individual basis, during a day or evening that suits you.

Local Support
Our SPH region covers: Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset, Somerset, South Gloucestershire and Gloucestershire.
We encourage settings to contact their local authority early years teams for support. If you would like us to put you in touch with them, please email us.
If you are a Bristol based early years setting then you can also apply for support from our Local Specialist Leaders (LSLs).

One-off Bespoke Support Request
One-off CPD or support is provided by the Bristol Early Years Teaching Hub (BEYTH). This includes various bespoke support options such as:
- Specific CPD sessions for your setting or local area
- INSET days or Staff Meetings
- Arranging learning / study visits to other settings
Please look at BEYTH’s CPD portfolio for an idea of the CPD topics available. This is not exhaustive, and we can tailor CPD to your needs.
Please note that One-off Support is not funded by the Stronger Practice Hub and if it cannot be funded locally, then it will be charged.
