Early Language Under Twos Professional Development Programme

Starting in the summer term 2027, the Bristol and Beyond Stronger Practice Hub Early Language Learning Leads are running the Early Language Under Twos Professional Development Programme (PDP). We are recruiting 15 Early Years settings per cohort to take part in this fully funded programme. Within these attendance numbers, and depending on demand, we may be able to consider up to two attendees per setting.
Who it is for
The Early Language Under Twos PDP is designed for PVIs, childminders and schools with nursery classes who have 0 to 2 year olds attending their setting. The course content is aimed at Early Years practitioners who are qualified at Level 2 and above, and is open to other staff who wish to take part and are confident that they can engage with Level 2 content.
What is involved
The Early Language Under Twos PDP, developed by the DfE, is completed over one academic term. It includes four online modules and four seminars, one of which is held face to face.
