Our Regional Offer, which can be accessed by all childminders in our 8 Local Authorities, will include training and input from inspirational speakers or information sharing around relevant themes. It’s a fabulous opportunity to connect together and consider big-picture thinking.
Local Offer
Our Local offer brings together practitioners in each locality for friendly and professional discussions in a safe space. We aim for the offer to be bespoke and responsive to the unique needs of the area.
Local offer may include:
- Establishing new face-to-face groups
- Supporting existing groups with planning, resources, and identifying a learning focus
- Inviting guest speakers or arranging support for groups
- Training sessions
We invite further suggestions for how we can meet the needs of each locality.

The Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) has created an Evidence Store, which includes six key themes with evidence-informed approaches for supporting young children’s learning and development in the early years.
We have created a Vodcast which provides a “Walk through the Evidence Store”, with suggestions and guidance about how to make best use of this resource.
