Stronger Practice Hub Event
This session is for early years practitioners and childminders in Swindon.
Now more than ever young children need to play. They need an environment that’s rich in opportunities for exploration, deep engagement, and communication. This interactive session explores the many benefits of playing with scrap and how it nurtures all areas of development and learning in the EYFS as well as fostering the characteristics of effective learning.
Playing with scrap, both inside and outdoors, provides children with limitless provocations, sparking creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking. Exploring larger-scale loose parts also provides physically challenging experiences, which support the prime areas of learning.
