Communication, Language and Literacy Network

The Communication, Language and Literacy Network is a joyful opportunity for sharing, learning and exploring to reflect on how we support children’s journeys to be confident communicators, readers and writers. It is a regional network open to our 8 local authorities.

There will be opportunities for early years professionals of all levels to come together online and hear from inspirational speakers and consider what best practice looks like in everyday routines and experiences for all children in our settings and schools.

Stories, songs, rhymes, inspiring communication environments, high quality interactions, mark making and writing will all feature as part of network discussions with others.

As well network sessions, online and face-to-face, it will include training and input from inspirational speakers, as well as open days or information sharing around relevant themes.
