Stronger Practice Hub Event
We all know that creativity is important. But how do you define it? And WHY does it matter? This session will help you gain confidence in articulating these questions and provide practical support with curriculum, planning, and assessment through creativity and the arts.
Millie Colwey is the founder and leader of Millies Garden, she works across Bristol, the region and sometimes nationally in early years systems leadership and is part of the Birth-3 Local Specialist Leader team at Bristol Early Years Teaching Hub. Millies Garden is a partner setting of the Bristol and Beyond Stronger Practice Hub. Millie is currently completing a Masters degree in Education at the Centre for Research in Early Childhood. She did postgraduate research into creativity and the arts in Early Years Education as part of this Masters which is soon to be published in the Early Education Journal.
This training is for early years practitioners and leaders working in settings or childminders in our Stronger Practice Hub area (Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon, Wiltshire, Somerset, North Somerset, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire). We will also prioritise settings and childminders in areas of deprivation.
