Stronger Practice Hub Event
Come and join this interactive Makaton taster session. This fun and informative introduction will explore what Makaton is and who uses it. You will learn more than 30 signs and symbols which you can start to use immediately in your practice. You will receive a copy of all the signs and symbols you have learned and a certificate of attendance. You do not need any prior experience in Makaton to come along. The taster is also a great introduction for those wanting to go on to Level 1.
Please Note: Numbers are very limited. You will only be allowed one staff person per setting.
If it is Sold Out, please email us to be added to the Reserve List.
This is a funded course, so it is very important that you let us know if you can no longer attend so that someone else can take your place.
Jacqui Lewis is an advocate for children, childhoods, and high quality, inclusive early childhood education. This training is for early years practitioners and leaders working in settings or childminders in our Stronger Practice Hub area (Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon, Wiltshire, Somerset, North Somerset, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire). We will also prioritise settings and childminders in areas of deprivation.
