Stronger Practice Hub Event
In these outdoor workshops, we will be networking, reflecting, discussing, learning and exploring hands-on what makes a good outdoor environment. You will leave with plenty of ideas to take back and influence developing the outdoors in your setting.
Come and delve into a deeper understanding of observing children’s play and understand what Schemas are and how they work to support children 0-3 years in their outdoor play.
As we know, children do not all learn in the same way. Schemas support different styles of learning which can inform us as practitioners to resource appropriate materials and open-ended opportunities to support this important area of development.
We will actively take part in and explore dynamic action schemas, reflect on our environments to support continuous provision outdoors as a resource for learning and play and consider the adult role as a play partner.
These practical sessions will be delivered outdoors regardless of the weather, so please dress appropriately.
Please Note: This training day is for early years practitioners working in settings or childminders in our Stronger Practice Hub area. There are 30 places available and no more than two places per setting. We will prioritise settings and childminders in areas of deprivation. Places will be confirmed two weeks before the event.
If this event is sold out, you can email sph@beyth.co.uk and ask to be added to the reserve list. Please tell us your setting name and postcode.
Unfortunately you are NOT able to bring your children along to these sessions. They are for Early Years practitioners and childminders only.
In order to receive your tickets by email, please add anna.kawar@beyth.co.uk to your safe senders list. If you don’t see your tickets/order confirmation, please check your junk/spam folder.
