The session explores the challenges that transitions can bring for children with SEND and offers realistic, child-centred strategies to reduce anxiety and build confidence. Practitioners will learn how to plan gradual, well-supported transitions, work effectively with families and receiving schools, and use visuals, routines, and communication tools to help each child feel safe and ready. The aim is to ensure every child is given the best possible start to their next stage of learning.
