Stronger Practice Hub Event
Come and find out more about how to extend children’s thinking using the Sustained Shared Thinking approach (described in the REPEY project, 2002). This approach is recognised as being a common characteristic of practice in high-quality Early Years settings/schools.
This training is for early years practitioners and leaders working in settings or childminders in our Stronger Practice Hub area (Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon, Wiltshire, Somerset, North Somerset, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire). We will also prioritise settings and childminders in areas of deprivation.
This network is an opportunity for practitioners to come together and consider how we support children’s communication, language and literacy through an evidence-informed approach. It is for anyone working in EYs and offers 45 minutes of learning more about an approach with a follow-up reflective discussion about how this might work in your setting or school.
