Behaviour Strategies for Children in the EYs With Delayed Language/Learning (For All)

July 15 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm BST

Free

Stronger Practice Hub Event

This online session will help you really understand the different behaviour strategies that can be used for children in the Early Years with language delay and difficulties.

We will explore the importance of considering children’s levels of understanding and what their behaviour is telling you. We will discuss the learning environment, consider our own responses to children’s unwanted behaviours and offer many tips and examples of useful ideas for you to take away and use immediately.

Strategies and tools will be shared which enable a positive approach to supporting children with communication delay in your setting.

About Mandy Jennings

Mandy Jennings will be delivering this training. Mandy has been delivering training for Springboard Opportunity Group for many years.  Since 1998 she has also been a Regional Makaton Tutor and has line managed the North Somerset Portage Service.

This training is for early years practitioners and leaders working in settings or childminders in our Stronger Practice Hub area (Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon, Wiltshire, Somerset, North Somerset, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire). We will also prioritise settings and childminders in areas of deprivation.
