Face-to-Face Bundle: Understanding Children’s Behaviour Through Attachment and Relationship-Based Practice

This session will offer time and space;

  • To understand attachment theory and how it underpins practice.
  • To understand the critical role of the adult in supporting children’s wellbeing.
  • How your environment and routines impact children’s sense of safety.
  • To be curious about children’s behaviour and the importance of connection.
  • To have strategies in how to respond to children’s behaviour
  • The critical role of the adult in coregulation.
  • To have an awareness of ACES and protective factors.
  • To understand the neuroscience behind trauma and how this impacts a child.
  • To build your confidence in using a therapeutic response.

Note: This course is for those who have NOT attended the online PSED courses.

Parking
St. Pauls Children’s Centre: There is no on-site parking but parking is available on the road for £1 an hour for a maximum of 3 hours, or in Cabot Circus which is 5-minute walk from the St. Pauls Children’s Centre.
