Being Two: Patterns of Play (Session 2)

August 20 @ 11:15 am - 1:15 pm BST

Stronger Practice Hub Event

Being Two Bundle!

These workshops will consider from a child’s perspective what it means to be truly two. Participants will explore how practitioners who are responsive and skilled in meeting the unique needs of two-year-olds can make a difference.

Patterns of Play (Session 2)

Have you noticed the uniqueness of two-year-olds’ play? This is largely influenced by their lived experiences, personal interests, and the individual ways in which their brains work. Join us for this interactive workshop to look at the multiple types of play and how these impact children’s learning. There will be opportunities to consider ways that practitioners can maximise play-based learning opportunities.

Sessions in this Series

Please note: These are stand-alone workshops which must be booked individually. They are running back-to-back to suit those who wish to attend all sessions for a full day of training.

Please arrive 10 minutes early if you would like light refreshments before the session starts.

This training is for early years practitioners and leaders working in settings or childminders in our Stronger Practice Hub area (Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon, Wiltshire, Somerset, North Somerset, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire). We will also prioritise settings and childminders in areas of deprivation.
