In this session, Julian will share the findings of the latest early years education research and what it means for you in your setting. He will finish by sharing some resources we hope you’ll find helpful before answering some of your questions.

About Julian Grenier

Julian Grenier was one of His Majesty’s Inspectors of Schools and Curriculum Lead for Early Education at Ofsted. Previously, he was the headteacher of Sheringham Nursery School and Children’s Centre and Director of East London Research School. Julian is a best-selling author of books about the early years and has written regularly for Nursery World and the Times Educational Supplement (TES). He was awarded a CBE for his services to early years education in 2022.

This training is for early years practitioners and leaders working in settings or childminders in our Stronger Practice Hub area (Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon, Wiltshire, Somerset, North Somerset, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire). We will also prioritise settings and childminders in areas of deprivation.

Parking
St. Pauls Children’s Centre: There is no on-site parking but parking is available on the road for £1 an hour for a maximum of 3 hours, or in Cabot Circus which is 5-minute walk from the St. Pauls Children’s Centre.
