Somerset Leaders Network – Dissecting the Toolkit and Examining What That Means for Us and in Practice

Stronger Practice Hub Event

At this Somerset Leaders Network, we will hold a supportive and reflective session to examine the new Ofsted Early Years Toolkit in more detail, a theme chosen directly in response to feedback from our previous session, where attendees said they would gain confidence by exploring it further.

Managers and settings are welcome to bring their toolkits, share their own personal reflections, and work in action learning sets to scaffold discussion. Together we will explore:

• Current understanding of the toolkit
• Where you think you are and why
• Sharing ideas about different aspects to gain a deeper understanding

Rachel Perry from Little Adventurers (in Taunton) will be joining the event to give her recent inspection experience and reflect on their leadership journey so far.
