Stronger Practice Hub Event
Model, Practice, Thrive is an interactive, hands-on network session designed to equip early years practitioners and leaders with practical strategies to explicitly teach self-regulation skills. The session focuses on how modelling, guided practice, and supportive adult interactions can help children develop the ability to manage their emotions, behaviour, and attention effectively. You will take strategies away that you can use in practice instantly, embedding self-regulation into your setting from day one.
Participants will also have the opportunity to tour our Shortlisted Early Years Setting of the Year and our school that won Primary School of the Year, gaining inspiration and practical insights from award-winning practice.
Who is this for and why you should make time from your busy schedules to come along?
If you’re seeing children struggle to manage emotions and behaviour, this session will give you the practical tools you need. Model, Practice, Thrive shows you how to teach self-regulation step by step through modelling and guided practice. Leave with ready-to-use strategies—and fresh inspiration from our award-winning setting tour.
This will be ideal for those working with 2-5 year olds.
East Wichel Primary School & Day nursery is providing this Network session for Swindon early years providers on behalf of the Stronger Practice Hub.
