It will also get you thinking about growing and exploring fresh produce, food insecurity, and the importance of this for young children. Each two-hour session will be led by Jo Ingleby, director of The Children’s Kitchen, who has 20 years of experience leading award-winning early years food programmes.

Come and join this interactive Makaton taster session. This fun and informative introduction will explore what Makaton is and who uses it. You will learn more than 30 signs and symbols which you can start to use immediately in your practice. You will receive a copy of all the signs and symbols you have learned and a certificate of attendance.

Come along to the wonderful (sometimes sunny!) Severn Beach to find out all about Beach School experiences. Woodland House Nursery (Clifton, Bristol) have been running Beach School sessions with their Pre-School children since 2012. They won the Nursery World Award for Enabling Environments in 2013 where they were praised for their use of the beach environment to support children's wellbeing and development. Bristol Beach Schools was created in 2016 by Woodland House Nursery and Archfield House Nursery to help spread the word about the fantastic learning opportunities that attending regular sessions at the beach can have.
