Creativity in the Baby Room, with Guest Trainer Mona Sakr

April 25 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am BST

Free

Stronger Practice Hub Event

In this interactive online workshop, we’ll explore why prioritising creativity in the baby room matters for baby and staff wellbeing. We’ll shift our focus from planning one-off creative activities to instead thinking about how everything we do in the baby room can be done more creatively.

We’ll explore creative provocations in the baby room that prioritise open-ended exploration and inspiration and come up with our own ideas for creative journeys we’d like to start in the near future.

Dr Mona Sakr is an Associate Professor of Early Childhood Education at Middlesex University. Her research and teaching focuses on pedagogy, creativity and leadership in early years, with a particular passion for the baby room.

She is founder of www.babyrooms-inspiringleaders.co.uk.
