Join us for an inspiring and reflective Early Years study day designed to deepen your understanding of emotionally attuned practice and strengthen leadership for emotionally safe environments.

This immersive day includes an Emotion Coaching workshop, for children and practical demonstrations of how to do this in different scenarios.

We will explore Leadership for Emotionally Safe Practice, including leading with emotional intelligence, role-modelling responsive interactions, and supporting teams to co-regulate during challenging or stressful moments. Together, we will consider what it means to create psychologically safe environments for children and for staff and how this strengthens relationships, behaviour, and wellbeing across the setting.

Participants will also take part in guided observations within a nursery room, linking theory to practice and analysing high-quality PSED provision in action. A final PSED in Practice theory session will consolidate key learning, offering practical tools to take back to your teams.

This study day is ideal for Early Years leaders, managers, deputies, room leaders, and practitioners committed to building thoughtful, emotionally intelligent, and deeply responsive practice.
