Stronger Practice Hub Event

In this Talking About… Babies Network session, we will explore the vital role of attachment in the earliest stages of development. Together, we will discuss practical strategies and share experiences to support secure attachments with babies, and consider how we can create emotionally responsive environments that nurture strong, trusting relationships.

About Sarah Clarke

Sarah Clarke is a Specialist Health Visitor for Perinatal and Infant Mental Health in Sirona Public Health Nursing. For the last 3 years she has been the workstream lead for Perinatal Mental Health and Parent Infant Relationships with Bristol Family Hubs. She is passionate about supporting practitioners across our workforce to increase awareness and understanding about the importance of parent-infant relationships in the first 1001 days. Supporting services across the system to understand the value of their role in supporting babies and parents/carers with these important early relationships, is essential to providing the foundation for lifelong health and development.

This training is for early years practitioners and leaders working in settings or childminders in our Stronger Practice Hub area (Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon, Wiltshire, Somerset, North Somerset, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire). We will also prioritise settings and childminders in areas of deprivation.
