Children’s experiences in the earliest years can shape their future health, learning and wellbeing. High-quality early education has a vital role to play in supporting two-year-olds and their families, particularly those experiencing disadvantage.
In this session, we’ll explore how settings can use Families Receiving Additional Support (FRAS) funded two-year-old places to support access, build strong relationships with families, and provide the responsive, inclusive environments that help every child flourish. We’ll reflect on the difference high-quality equitable early years practice can make and share ideas for supporting every two-year-old to have the best start in life.
This training is for early years practitioners and leaders working in settings or childminders in our Stronger Practice Hub area (Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon, Wiltshire, Somerset, North Somerset, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire). We will also prioritise settings and childminders in areas of deprivation.
Talking About... is a series of informal, one-hour online networking sessions designed for early years practitioners to come together, share experiences, and explore key topics related to babies in early years settings. Each session focuses on a different aspect of practice, providing a space for discussion, reflection, and peer support.
