Stronger Practice Hub Event
Join Springboard Opportunity Group for an immersive practitioner visit to our specialist autism provision based at Mead Vale Primary School. These small-group sessions will provide early years practitioners with the opportunity to observe and discuss inclusive, neurodevelopmentally-informed practice within a specialist early years environment supporting both complex and less complex autistic children.
The immersion days will explore how thoughtful environments, communication approaches, regulation support and relational practice can help autistic children feel safe, engaged and able to thrive. Practitioners will gain practical ideas, strategies and reflections that can be translated into their own settings.
These sessions are designed to encourage discussion, reflection and shared learning in a supportive environment, with opportunities to ask questions and explore real-life practice alongside the Springboard team.
Learning Aims:
This training is for early years practitioners and leaders working in settings or childminders in our Stronger Practice Hub area (Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon, Wiltshire, Somerset, North Somerset, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire). We will also prioritise settings and childminders in areas of deprivation.
