Transitions can be a significant time of change for two-year-olds, emotionally, socially, and developmentally. This focused session will explore how to support young children as they move between rooms, routines, or settings. We’ll consider the importance of relationships, communication with families, and creating a sense of continuity to ensure transitions are smooth, sensitive, and child-centred.

Joanne and Tracey support early years settings across Bath and North East Somerset to provide high-quality provision for the children in their care, and to help narrow the achievement gap.
This training is for early years practitioners and leaders working in settings or childminders in our Stronger Practice Hub area (Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon, Wiltshire, Somerset, North Somerset, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire). We will also prioritise settings and childminders in areas of deprivation.
