  • Observing Through the Eyes of a Child – The Emotional Environment and Leadership Strategies

    What can we learn when we intentionally view our setting through the eyes of a child? This online session invites Early Years leaders to explore how child-centred observation can become a powerful tool for continuous improvement, gaining fresh insights into the quality of environments, interactions, routines and learning opportunities. Drawing on reflective practice and observation techniques, participants will examine how children's perspectives can reveal strengths, identify barriers to engagement, and highlight opportunities to enhance wellbeing, belonging and learning, with practical strategies for gathering evidence from a child's viewpoint to inform meaningful centre improvement planning.
