This Open Study Day at Easton Community Children’s Centre (ECCC) will focus on supporting children from marginalised communities feel a sense of belonging. You will explore how Easton Community Children’s Centre aspire to their vision of ‘A sense of Belonging, not just Fitting in’ for all children. You will be immersed in our inclusive and anti-racist learning environments and pick up ideas for your settings. Understand how you can support little babies up to curious pre-school learners to gain the skills they need to become the next generation of global citizens.

This EDI network will create an opportunity for Early Years professionals to come together in a safe space and reflect upon Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. The three sessions will explore our own individual values and influences and how this informs our professional selves, how we know and understand the identities of the unique child, their families and our communities and how we can use our knowledge to change practice in our settings.

Parking
St. Pauls Children’s Centre: There is no on-site parking but parking is available on the road for £1 an hour for a maximum of 3 hours, or in Cabot Circus which is 5-minute walk from the St. Pauls Children’s Centre.
