The programme supports those leading in the early years to engage with the growing body of educational research evidence and use it to make decisions about the 'best bets' for their school or setting.

    Bristol's Baby Practitioner Networks have grown from six citywide meetings to nine locality-based clusters, with three meetings each in North, South and East & Central Bristol, giving practitioners more opportunities to connect, share practice and be part of a supportive community focused on giving babies the best start in life. Free to attend and open to all — explore current themes in baby room practice, share ideas and celebrate great practice.

    Stronger Practice Hub Event

    A full-day face-to-face course for Early Years Practitioners and Teachers in Bristol schools who are new to the EYFS framework, linked to the DfE's Best Start in Life vision. Covers the core principles of the EYFS — the four overarching themes, Characteristics of Effective Learning, Prime Areas and educational programmes — alongside observation, assessment and planning, the role of the adult, the key person approach and enabling environments that put children and families at the heart of practice.
