Stronger Practice Hub Event
Explore how to work in partnership with parents and carers of children with SEND in the early years, considering how trusting, collaborative relationships support children’s communication, sensory processing, emotional regulation and developmental needs, with practical, inclusive strategies for building shared understanding between home and setting.
Full description to follow.
Our SEND Network offers a series of informal, online networking sessions designed for early years practitioners to come together, share experiences, and explore key topics related to SEND in early years settings. Each session focuses on a different aspect of practice, providing some specialist input and a space for discussion, reflection, and peer support. This SEND Network session will be facilitated by Springboard Opportunity Group, our SPH Partner who run several Special Schools in North Somerset.
This training is for early years practitioners and leaders working in settings or childminders in our Stronger Practice Hub area (Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon, Wiltshire, Somerset, North Somerset, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire). We will also prioritise settings and childminders in areas of deprivation.
