Stronger Practice Hub Event
Creating anti-racist practice requires more than good intentions. This interactive online session supports early years professionals to move from awareness to confident action, exploring how racism can emerge in subtle, everyday interactions and how practitioners can respond proactively. Through discussion, scenarios and practical reflection, participants will develop strategies to recognise and challenge bias, respond confidently to racist incidents, support children’s understanding of fairness and belonging, and contribute to cultures where racism is actively recognised, addressed and challenged.
This is one of series of EDI CPD sessions. You can book one; however, we recommend booking onto all three if you can.
This training is for early years practitioners and leaders working in settings or childminders in our Stronger Practice Hub area (Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon, Wiltshire, Somerset, North Somerset, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire). We will also prioritise settings and childminders in areas of deprivation.
