EDI: It Starts With Us – Reflection on Bias and Positionality
Stronger Practice Hub Event
This session offers early years professionals the opportunity to pause and reflect on the role we each play in creating equitable and inclusive practice. Together, we’ll explore identity, positionality, bias and belonging, considering how our own experiences and perspectives influence the decisions we make every day. Through case studies and reflective activities, participants will develop greater self-awareness and leave with practical strategies to move from good intentions to meaningful, sustained action.

This training is for early years practitioners and leaders working in settings or childminders in our Stronger Practice Hub area (Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon, Wiltshire, Somerset, North Somerset, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire). We will also prioritise settings and childminders in areas of deprivation.
